Hola Hola,
December is arriving soon, so it is again time for another blog. School is getting busier and you can really notice that you have to do more and more for school. A lot of deadlines are coming.
It is quite different from The Netherlands, because at the Hanzehogeschool you have from September to February 2 so called ''blocks'' and here you only have one. This is way it is now getting busier. After Christmas, the examens will start and after the examens the semester is over. It is going so so fast! Que lastima!
I learned a lot regarding Spanish those weeks, because I am doing the Spanish course in level B1. I can really recommend to take a higher level, because you will get challeneged.
The weather here is by the way muy muy fatal. It is raining a lot and the temperature can be low. This week it is around 15 degrees.
Last week, me and some friends went to a really good Italian restaurant, called L'Etrusco. I can really recommand it, because the quality is good. For the rest, I still go often to a small cafetaria for tapas called El Hostal (close to Placa Major), you can get a nice gin tonic there while enjoying patatas bravas.
If you are going to Castellón and the weather is good, don't forget to pass by Lao Lao and try the Pistache sauce, it's so good!
Two weeks ago, I went with ESN to PortAventura in Salou. This is a very nice amusment parc. If you want to go there, I can recommend to buy the Express Ticket (33 euros). It's expensive but really worth it, instead of 2 hours of waiting we only had to wait MAX 5 minutes! If you like amusments parcs, you should go there!
ESN also organises a lot of trips to small towns, like Vilafames, Morella and Peniscola. I think you should go to Peniscola, but the rest of the trips were not really special.
I hope you do like those recommendations and I also hope it will make your stay here better!
