Last weekend in Castellón

Dear readers,
Wow! My last weekend in Castellón! After the Christmas break the time flew.. I had 4 exams and I need to pass 3 to have enough credits to comply the Study Abroad part of the Hanze. I think I actually passed 2.. so we will have to see.
The exams were not that hard. You can learn on the basis of the powerpoint sheets that the teacher use for the lectures. Unfortunately I had one course: Statistiscs, which is in particular kind of difficult.
It's getting cold here, especially inside the houses.. I can't wait to be back in The Netherlands because of the warm houses haha. Please, if you plan to come from the period of September - January, bring warm clothes for in the houses!
This weekend I will have to say goodbye to a lot of friends here, which is sad. I've met a lot of amazing people here and hopefully they will stay in my life! My best friend that I met here fortunately lives in The Netherlands as well. I will go to a festival together with her soon and maybe we will go back to Castellón for the summer to enjoy the beach, the gin tonic muy fuertes and the spanish music. I also made some Spanish friends who live here.
In general, my Spanish has improved, because I did the intensive and semi-intensive Spanish course (A1 & B1) and I met some Spanish people her. If I could give a suggestion, please go live with Spanish/Italian people, since they don't speak that good English and you will improve considerably.
Concerning the courses. If you have to choose a Spanish class, please don't choose one which is in YEAR 4. It's to hard, especially when you arrive here with an A2 Spanish level.. I know for sure I didnt pass that exam. Another recommendation: try to read everyday a newspaper in Spanish or go read a book. Really, It will help you! Take advantage of the opportunity to learn GOOD Spanish here.
I hope you all enjoyed reading my experiences, and I also hope that you can use the recommendations that I gave.
If you are still hestitating about choosing going on Erasmus/going to Spain: YOU SHOULD GO! It's an amazing experience. You learn a lot about other people and yourself. You will meet a lot of more people and you will get inspired. Moreover you learn a lot about other cultures and languages as well. So please, if you have the opportunity: GO!
