Still a couple of days and then I will go back by plane to The Netherlands. Almost everybody is leaving to go to their hometown for Christmas and New Year. I am really looking forward of going home and to see my family and friends. The 4th of January, I will fly back for the exams here in Castellón.
The last couple of weeks has been tough. Everybody was having a dip, everybody was a little bit sad and feeling sick. I think it's normal at this point of the study abroad, because you are getting bussier and bussier with school things and you have less time to do nice things. You can also note that there are less activities in the city and it's getting colder and colder.. One positive poiny: fortunately, I passed my Spanish course :)
Recommendation: Via the ESN card that you can obtain at the beginning of you study abroad, you can get discount for multiple things, for instance discount for RyanAir flight. Because of this discount, I would get a retour ticket to The Netherlands for only 31 euros, including baggage. For only 15 euros you can purchase the ESN card.
For the active people, in the environment of Castellón you have some nice possibilities to go for a hike. You can take the bus to Benicassim.
For the people who love cheap and good food. A couple of days ago I went to Guiliani's restaurant. Here you can get a menu for only 10 euros, and you get an entree, main dish and dessert. It's an Italian restaurant and the quality is good. I can really recommendate this!
